The history of Yancai Town is fading: textbooks are blank, old shops’ flavors are vanishing, and traditional crafts are being forgotten. When the sun-shaped birthmark on Zhao Zhao’s forehead burns, Grandpa Ma gives her the Yancai key and tells her that six spirit stones are missing. Only by crossing time-space rifts to recover them can Jiangsu’s millennium-old civilization be restored. Guided by six city guardian spirits, Zhao Zhao and her friends travel to Nantong, Yangzhou, Suzhou, Xuzhou, Suqian, and Nanjing to complete their missions and gather the six stones. Once all are collected, the cracks in the key close and the town’s history is fully restored. The children write the city’s memories of courage, responsibility, and heritage into history forever.
