Exchange, Promotion, and Matchmaking: Zoland Animation Met Korean Companies
On September 11th, Zoland Animation's booth at ACE Fair highlighted AI content, digital culture & tourism, and IP licensing. Through videos, text, and visuals, Zoland Animation successfully presented its business activities to international buyers and attracted a large audience.
The business promotion involving Chinese enterprises was held on the ACE Fair stage. The representative of Zoland Animation delivered a speech on its business activities, such as the integration of AI and culture & tourism, platform operation and international cooperation, as well as its business focus and cooperation needs in fields such as AI content, digital culture & tourism, and overseas distribution.
Regarding AI content, Zoland Animation presented AI comic dramas, The Chaotic 7th Day, A New Happy Dad and Son & Magic Eye Animated Movie co-produced with CCTV Animation Group, and the Zoland-Tikka AI Animation Chinese language school platform, which provides general Chinese language education through a model integrating animation IP, AI functional games, and international Chinese education. As for the integration of AI and culture & tourism, supported by over 20 cutting-edge digital technologies including VR, holographic technology, 8K 360-degree surround screen, and AI-powered interaction, Zoland Animation established the digital culture & tourism complex, Future Planet. Additionally, Zoland Animation developed “Su Dongpo AI Digital Human Holographic Interactive Pod”. Using AI technology, the audience can simultaneously communicate with Su Dongpo and gain an immersive experience in interacting with the historical figure.
In terms of platforms, Zoland Animation introduced core technological platforms such as Zhijiang One AI Performance Animation Digital Studio, developed by the cooperation zone and the METai Audiovisual Dubbing Platform.
On that day, a one-on-one business fair was held at the independent booths in the joint pavilion of Gwangju content companies. The fair adopted an approach integrating pre-matchmaking and site visits. Chinese companies visited the booths of the matched GICON companies and discussed content, IP, technology and concrete cooperation needs.
Zoland Animation engaged in business meetings with Mawool Communication, Moonfic, Aniedu, Green Wood, Maro Studio and GOLDFRAM. Topics addressed included the distribution and licensing of animation, characters, and IP in the Chinese market; co-production of content and IP; cooperation on distribution across Chinese and global platforms; and AI-based content production and localisation.
Mawool Communications expressed strong interest in the Future Planet. MARO Studio believes that the “Su Dongpo AI Digital Human Holographic Interactive Pod” will inspire its design of interactions with virtual images, breaking the boundary between reality and virtuality.
Through the exchange, on-site visits, enterprise promotion, and one-on-one fair, Zoland Animation successfully presented its business plan in AI content, digital culture & tourism and overseas distribution during its Gwangju journey, as well as connected with six Korean companies. One promotion is an opportunity to make an impression; six business meetings are six opportunities to find cooperation opportunities.
Having this fair as the starting point, Zoland Animation will continuously engage in communication with Korean companies and move from expressions of interest to concrete projects. As the National Cultural Export Base, the Zhejiang Digital Culture International Cooperation Zone will continue to play an active role in supporting businesses within the zone in deepening international exchanges and cooperation. This new route for China–South Korea collaboration in AI-powered animation content is only just beginning its journey.
