Zoland Animation to Showcase Multiple New Projects at Telefilm Vietnam 2026.
With the summer heat at its peak in Ho Chi Minh City, Telefilm Vietnam 2026 took place from June 24 to 26 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center. Zoland Animation returned to exhibit at Booth AM02, presenting new titles and projects—marking its latest appearance since 2024.
Compared to two years ago, the booth featured several new additions. Among the highlights were A New Happy Dad and Son & Magic Eye Animated Movie: The Chaotic 7th Day, marking the first collaboration between the two national IPs "Happy Dad and Son" and "Magic Eye"; Rubi's Adventure, a tale of bravery and exploration; Legend of King Qian, which recounts how Hangzhou's founder Qian Liu protected his people and built seawalls; and Legendary Su Dongpo, following the poet-official Su Dongpo as he left the political strife of the capital for Hangzhou, where he cracked mysteries, fought floods, dredged West Lake, and restored the battered city to its former paradise. The variety of genres—from fantasy crossover to historical epic, from children's adventure to literary grace—sparked curiosity and drew many visitors to ask for more details.
Additionally, Zoland Animation also brought four represented animation and film works: The Grandmaster of Kungfu, Jili and Gulu, Elf Dream Ye Luoli, and The Sage Boy: Liu Bowen's Legend. These titles span a variety of genres, including martial arts, preschool enlightenment, fantasy adventure, and historical biography.
At the event, Zoland Animation also showcased the latest achievements of several innovative projects, including AI comic series, the Zoland Tika "AI Animation Chinese Language School Platform," and Zoland Leyou. The AI comic series project plans to produce 164 titles totaling 10,080 minutes, set to go online by the end of the year. Titles already released include Quitting My Job to Return to the Village and Make a Fortune and A Rescue Thirty Years Too Late, covering a diverse range of genres such as rural revitalization and suspense mystery. The "AI Animation Chinese Language School Platform" launched by Zoland Tika pioneered the "Animation IP + AI-powered game + International Chinese Language Education" model, offering eight foundational Chinese language courses, enabling "one-click assignment assignment and one-click Chinese school setup." The "Yimo" character incubated by Zoland Leyou has amassed over 8 million followers across all online platforms, with over 5 million followers on TikTok alone.
Over the three-day exhibition, Zoland Animation held over ten business洽谈 meetings and reached preliminary agreements with clients from Vietnam, India, and Taiwan in areas such as copyright, distribution, and co-development, with意向 amounts totaling approximately USD 30,000. During the meetings, Vietnam's Bee Entertainment expressed interest in A New Happy Dad and Son & Magic Eye Animated Movie: The Chaotic 7th Day; Vietnam's TU QUI RADIO MEDIA CO., LTD. expressed interest in acquiring the Vietnamese-language YouTube broadcasting rights for twelve of Zoland Animation's titles; and Vietnam CISC showed interest in packaging and dubbing Zoland Animation's titles into Vietnamese. Additionally, India's Unitech expressed interest in five titles from the Rubi series.
